Chef Nike, with her full name being Eunike Fedora Sinulingga, isn't new to the world of pastry. Albeit her basic training as a Bachelor of Law from Universitas Padjajaran in Bandung, Eunike was most recently a pastry instructor at Zan's Treats (March 2016–March 2017), a renowned baking academy in Singapore run by Chef Zan, an accomplished chef who wrote the book “Baking with Chef Zan” In fact Chef Zan was the inspiration that started Eunike in the world of pastry.
She’s also worked with Janice Wong in Singapore (February 2015-February 2016), a celebrated pastry chef who won the title of “Pastry Chef of the Year” from the World Gourmet Summit (2011, 2013 and 2015) and “Asia’s Best Pastry Chef” (2013 and 2014) from the Restaurant magazine.
Chef Nike's experience is reinforced by a mix of skill set and practical knowledge gained through her studies in Pastry and Bakery at the at-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy in Singapore (September 2014–February 2016). She was chosen as Student of the Month (March 2015) and had satisfactorily completed all requirements for her Diploma in Pastry and Bakery.
As at today, Chef Nike’s passion, aside her commitment as a mother with a daughter, is to put in practice what she’s learned from the celebrated chefs she's worked with. Her dream is to promote original ideas, world class standard and premium quality to the art of pastry and bakery. To stay true to her dream, she starts Chep’Nike Kue Manis in the historic city of Bandung, Indonesia.
